While trying to figure out what to do next, I met one of my dad’s clients at the salon. He asked me about dad. I told him what had happened. After which he was shocked, and while speaking to him, I could see the genuine sadness. While I was leaving the salon, he surprised me by saying, “I still want to invest with you.” That made me realise how much my dad touched people’s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This incident gave me clarity that I should continue with the business and grow the legacy that my dad had created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the years, I have worked with many clients, and our humble beginnings had a lot of challenges, which I overcame with the help of my team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the years went by, the scale of the business kept on increasing, and over the years, I have enjoyed working with my clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have witnessed the changes that have occurred in the mutual fund industry in India. When I joined this business, the industry’s total AUM stood at a humble \u20b9 90,587 crore. Today, as we stand on the cusp of a new era, the AUM has burgeoned to an impressive \u20b9 50 lakh crore, a testament to the robust growth of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The best part? The story of India keeps getting bigger and better, and I believe the mutual fund industry will be one of the beneficiaries of this development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have a team of 77 amazing people who know a lot about this work\u2014together, they have close to 1000 years of collective experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My team and I work with over 5,360 families spread across 217 cities in India and around 25 countries across the world. As I reflect on the past, I am filled with optimism for the future.
