Job Description: Content Writer

Role Overview

The Content Writer will be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and informative content across digital and offline platforms. The role requires strong writing, research, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify financial concepts while maintaining brand consistency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for blogs, websites, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • Research topics related to mutual funds, personal finance, wealth creation, insurance, market developments, and investor education.
  • Simplify complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand and reader-friendly content.
  • Write SEO-friendly articles using appropriate keywords, headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking opportunities.
  • Develop captions, scripts, campaign copy, advertisements, and promotional content for digital platforms.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve existing content for grammar, clarity, tone, accuracy, and readability.
  • Coordinate with the marketing, design, sales, and management teams to understand content requirements.
  • Maintain a consistent brand tone and communication style across all platforms.
  • Prepare content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assigned content.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor communication, and relevant financial developments.
  • Ensure all financial content is factual, responsible, and aligned with applicable AMFI and regulatory communication guidelines.
  • Maintain organised records of approved content, drafts, references, and published materials.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
  • Excellent command of written English, grammar, and sentence structure.
  • Strong research, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, social media content, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to understand and simplify financial or technical information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.
  • Prior experience in financial services, mutual funds, insurance, or fintech will be preferred.
  • A portfolio of previously written content will be an added advantage.
